German Ambassador to Cairo Frank Hartmann received the delivery from a Luftwaffe aircraft at Cairo International Airport.
According to a statement from the German embassy, the shipment includes incubators for premature infants, artificial respiratory devices, and patient monitoring screens.
More German aid to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians is expected to arrive in Arish in the coming days, the statement added.
"It is a pleasure for me that through this shipment, we can support Egypt's dedicated commitment to providing humanitarian assistance, especially Egypt's commitment to medical care for patients and the injured from the Gaza Strip," Ambassador Hartmann said.
"We agree that the suffering of the people in Gaza must end as soon as possible. Our emergency aid can only be a small step. At the same time, Germany is working tirelessly internationally to create prospects for a political process. Like our Egyptian partners, we are convinced that a two-state solution alone can achieve lasting peace."
According to the embassy, Germany has doubled its humanitarian support to the Palestinian territories, providing a total of €179 million in 2023, including €106 million since 7 October.
