The Egyptian champions secured their spot in the semis with a convincing 3-1 victory over hosts Ittihad Jeddah, displaying a commendable performance.
Despite failing to progress beyond the semi-finals in their previous eight participations, Ahly is determined to change their fortunes this time around.
"We are well-prepared for the game, and I believe we can deliver a strong performance against Fluminense," Koller told the pre-match news conference on Sunday.
"Certainly, we have every chance of reaching the final. The game will not be easy, as our opponents share the same objective and also aspire to advance."
Acknowledging the difference between their match against Ittihad Jeddah and the upcoming encounter with Fluminense, the Swiss coach noted, "We showcased a strong performance against Ittihad Jeddah, and we aim to maintain our momentum against the Brazilians."
Koller also expressed his admiration for Fluminense and Brazilian football, stating, "I have watched some matches of Fluminense, and they are a good team, like the majority of Brazilian teams. I have great respect for Brazilian football and its unique style. However, we are fully prepared for the game and determined to perform well."
Meanwhile, Ahly skipper Mohamed El-Shennawi emphasized that the team began their preparations for the match immediately after completing their mission against Ittihad Jeddah.
El-Shennawi assured that Ahly is ready for any scenario they may face.
"This game against Fluminense will not be Ahly's first encounter with Brazilian sides," he mentioned during the pre-match news conference.
"We are familiar with their playing style and how to face them. We are well-prepared for the game and ready for any situation," he concluded.
