EEP emerged in 2019 backed by a diversified group of regional and global institutional investors including EFG Hermes and the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, operating 11 schools and catering to a combined capacity of 21,000 students.

This partnership is poised to expand EEP's outreach by providing academic programmes to gifted students at the academy.

The academy's approach, encompassing elite football training, character development, and a private school overseen by Prime National Schools, will be augmented through this cooperative venture, according to the statement.

This alliance aims to maximize the capabilities of young talents in both educational and sporting pursuits, as EEP will oversee the academic journey of these students, while the academy will afford them opportunities to excel academically and athletically, the statement added.

“Collaborating with EEP will further help better prepare the young talents to fulfill their goals,” said Mohamed Wasfy, the academy’s CEO.

Moreover, EEP’s CEO Ahmed Wahby underscored the transformative impact of joining efforts with RTD, citing it as a game-changing initiative that will mold the next generation of student-athletes and unlock their full potential, both on and off the field.

This collaboration aligns with EEP's commitment to corporate social responsibility and investment in Egypt's youth, he emphasized.

The RTD, a globally famed football academy, entered the Egyptian market through a partnership with Egypt’s Mansour Group, a family-owned conglomerate, as a new investment in the sports arena in Egypt.

This strategic investment in Egypt's sports arena aims to replicate the academy's successful model, which has empowered over 300 students from Ghana and Denmark since 1999, providing pathways to the FIFA World Cup and Ivy League colleges.

The academy’s current goal is to extend the same opportunities to the most talented boys and girls across Egypt, allowing them to fulfill their vast potential.

Therefore, the academy actively scouts gifted youth aged 10 to 18 from diverse governorates in Egypt, presenting pathways to elite football clubs worldwide and academic institutions in the United States.
