Claiming the fourth Club World Cup bronze in the club's history, Ahly bounced back from their semi-final defeat to secure a consolation prize.

"This win is for our incredible fans, the players who gave their all, and the coaching staff," Ashour said in a post-match interview. "Congratulations to everyone on achieving this victory."

Emam Ashour's exceptional performance during the game earned him the well-deserved Man of the Match award.

"We came here for a medal, and while reaching the final to make our fans truly happy wasn't meant to be, we thank God for the bronze. Congratulations to our fans again," he added.

With their sights set on a new challenge, Ashour swiftly shifted focus to the upcoming tournament.

"We have another important competition next week, and our attention is fully on that now. I hope the next one brings even greater reward," he concluded.

Ahly will kick off their campaign in the inaugural edition of the revamped Egyptian Super Cup on Monday, December 25, facing Ceramica Cleopatra in the United Arab Emirates.
