Featuring the top four teams in Egyptian football, namely Ahly, Pyramids FC, Ceramica Cleopatra, and Future FC, the revamped Egyptian Super Cup will commence on 25 December.

"Pyramids FC always plays to win every game, so we are focused on overcoming Future FC in the first match and ultimately reaching the final," Pacheco stated during the pre-game press conference.

In an exhilarating doubleheader on the opening day, Ahly will face off against Ceramica Cleopatra, while Pyramids FC will clash with Modern Future.

"The tournament's short number of games makes it possible for us to claim the title. Our players at Pyramids FC will exert extra effort, especially considering that Future FC is an organized team with highly talented players," Pacheco added.

The victorious teams from these matches will advance to the showdown, scheduled to take place on 28 December.

"Pyramids FC has arrived in Abu Dhabi to win the first game and then focus on the second game," emphasized the Portuguese coach.

He further remarked, "I have confidence in the abilities of our available players to achieve positive results, even though we will be without the services of goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shennawi, Eslam Issa, Ibrahim Adel, and other influential players."

Since their emergence in 2018, Pyramids FC has rapidly become one of the powerhouses in the Egyptian league.

Despite substantial investments, they have yet to secure a title, falling short in the Egypt Cup final twice and the Confederation Cup final.
