The crown prince underscored the kingdom’s commitment to further enhancing coordination and consultation with Egypt for serving the interests of both peoples and the Arab nation.
El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture, confirming Egypt’s mutual interest in boosting cooperation with Saudi Arabia in various fields.
He also said that Egypt is keen to continue coordination with the kingdom on issues related to joint Arab action, according to a statement by the Egyptian presidential spokesman.
El-Sisi secured a new six-year term in office, gaining the majority of votes in the presidential election which was held in December.
He obtained 39.7 million votes, or nearly 89.6 percent of valid votes, according to the National Elections Authority.
President El-Sisi will begin his third term in office in April 2024.
