The match will take place in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

This edition of the Super Cup features four teams instead of the usual two, and Ahly hopes to become the inaugural winners of this new format.

In the semifinals, Ahly secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ceramica Cleopatra, showcasing their determination to reach the final.

Meanwhile, Modern Future FC earned their place with a thrilling penalty shootout win over Pyramids FC, which ended with a score of 14-13.

Ahly's coach, Marcel Koller, expressed his team's desire to score goals, renew their motivation for trophies, and please their fans in the pre-match news conference.

However, Koller also acknowledged that his team has faced challenges due to the busy schedule, which has resulted in injuries to key players such as goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawi and defender Yasser Ibrahim, both of whom were unable to complete the semifinal match.

“Despite the challenges, Ahly have the experience to handle the pressure of consecutive matches,” Marcel Koller told the pre-match news conference on Wednesday.

El-Shennawi, who declared himself fit to play, emphasized that his participation will ultimately be decided by the coach.

Both El-Shennawi and Koller acknowledged that the match against Modern Future FC will not be easy, and the team needs to approach it with caution.

Modern Future FC, buoyed by their victory over Pyramids FC, aim to spring another surprise against Ahly.

The team's coach, Ricardo Formosinho, expressed his ambition and optimism, stating that they are ready for the tough clash.

While acknowledging Ahly's strength as a very good team, Formosinho remains confident in his side's capabilities and stressed the need to be realistic against their formidable opponents.

In their previous match, Modern Future FC adopted a defensive approach and relied on counterattacks. Striker Ahmed Atef and Moroccan winger Abdelkabir El Ouadi had clear chances but failed to convert them before the match went to a penalty shootout, ultimately propelling Modern Future FC to the final.
