However, the talented player from West Ham United is expected to be fit and ready for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.
The Black Stars will be playing their final preparatory friendly against Namibia on Monday before traveling to Cote d'Ivoire to participate in the AFCON finals, scheduled to take place from 13 January to 11 February.
The 23-year-old Kudus is nursing a minor injury and will continue his recovery in Accra under the supervision of Ghana's medical team.
In the AFCON 2023 tournament, Ghana has been placed in Group B alongside Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
Their campaign will kick off on 14 January against Cape Verde, followed by a match against Egypt on 18 January, and a game against Mozambique on 22 January.
Kudus, who unfortunately missed the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, is expected to regain full fitness before Ghana's first match in the continental tournament.
Since joining West Ham last summer, the Ghanaian goal-machine has made a notable impact in the English Premier League, scoring 10 goals in 18 appearances in all competitions so far.
