Palestinian officials accused Israel of committing a "brutal crime" after social media footage showed an occupation army vehicle running over a dead Palestinian in the city of Tulkarem late on Monday.
Israel’s army has denied allegations its troops deliberately ran over the dead body, saying the incident was "unintentional."
The footage of the incident appears to be taken from a security camera and shows an armored vehicle slowly driving over a lifeless body.
The vehicle then stops, restarts and drives off, crushing the body again with its back wheels.
Other footage shared on social media from the incident shows a group of men running out of a building and three of them being shot.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that three youths were moved to the Tulkarem Governmental Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The three victims were identified as Yusuf Ali Al-Kholi, 22, Ahed Salman Mousa, 23, and Tareq Amjad Shahin, 24.
The occupation army said it would review what had happened and claimed that the video "does not show the incident in its entirety"
Israeli violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, either from the army or the terrorist settlers, has surged to levels unseen in nearly two decades since Israel's war on Gaza began on 7 October.
Israeli army raids and colonial settler attacks have killed at least 333 Palestinians, including 84 children, in the West Bank in the past three months, according to the UN.
