Handball: Egypt rout Cameroon in African Championship

The Pharaohs secured their place in the ongoing African Championship quarter finals after defeating Cameroon 35-16 on Sunday in Cairo.

Veszprem player Yehya Khaled earned the title of man of the match due to his outstanding performance in this one-sided game. 

The Egyptian team encountered no difficulties throughout the match, as they ended the first half with an eight-goal advantage.

With a maximum of six points, the Pharaohs currently lead the group after their convincing 33-15 win against Guinea in the competition's opener, followed by another resounding victory of 34-19 over Congo.

Hosts of the tournament, Egypt will now face either Tunisia or Angola in the quarter-finals of the competition on Tuesday.
