Egypt’s tax revenue jumped around 39 percent YoY in July-November 2023

Egypt’s tax revenue jumped 38.7 percent year-on-year (YoY) to record EGP 516.1 billion between July and November 2023, according to data released by the Ministry of Finance.

Income tax receipts jumped 51.4 percent YoY to EGP 168.2 billion in the July-November period, while VAT tax receipts leaped 30 percent to record EGP 237.2 billion.

Receipts from property taxes rose by 40.8 percent YoY to reach EGP 84.6 billion in the same period.
