Wed 7, 6-8pm: “The Role of the Civic Sector in Inclusive Development” talk will discuss the current role of the civic sector in Egypt, its areas of focus, and the challenges it faces. It will critically examine the potential impact of the work they provide on Egypt’s inclusive development. Speakers: CEO of the Egyptian Food Bank Mohsen Sarhan, and Howaida Adly, Professor of Political Science - National Center for Social and Criminological Research. The talk will be moderated by Amr Abdel-Rahman,
Director of the Civil Liberties Unit at the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights. Researcher and lecturer in International Human Rights Law.
