The 18-year-old winger, who has nine caps for his country, joins Zamalek from Ugandan Premier League side SCV Kampala on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

Zamalek announced the signing on their official Twitter account, posting a video of Mutyaba wearing the club's white jersey.

Mutyaba had been linked with a move to Georgian club Dinamo Tbilisi, but the deal fell through and Zamalek swooped in to secure his services.

The 25-year old Hamdy, who started his career in Ahly before moving to Gouna, joined the White Knights coming from Montreal after spending two seasons in Major League Soccer (MLS).

The details of the deal and the contract have not been disclosed as of yet.

They mark the latest arrivals at Zamalek during the current winter transfer window, following the signings of Abdallah El-Said, Mohab Yasser, Nasser Maher, Mohamed Atef, Yasser Hamed and Seif Farouk Jaafar.

These signings come after Zamalek had their transfer ban lifted, which was imposed in 2023 due to cases involving unpaid dues to clubs and players.

Currently sitting in 12th place on the league table with 11 points from eight matches, Zamalek is looking to climb higher in the standings.
