Pacheco, 63, took charge of the team in January 2023, with high expectations of leading the big-spending club to win titles. However, the team's performance fell short of the anticipated success, despite having a talented roster.
In the previous season, Pyramids FC finished second in the league standings.
However, they faced setbacks, losing both the Egypt Cup final and the Egyptian Super Cup.
Their hopes were further dashed when they were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Confederation Cup.
This season, the club's struggles continued, as they finished third in the revamped Egyptian Super Cup and currently find themselves at the bottom of their group in the CAF Champions League.
They were also eliminated from the Egyptian League Cup quarterfinals last week, suffering a 3-1 defeat against Masry.
Assistant coach Mahmoud Fathallah has been named as the caretaker manager until a new boss is appointed to lead the team.
Pyramids FC currently lie fourth in the league table with 17 points, trailing leaders ZED FC by two points who played two matches more.
