This came during Madbouly’s meeting on Tuesday with the officials of the South Korean company of Samsung Electronics in the governmental headquarter in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting tackled possible cooperation opportunities with the company during the coming period in presence of Trade Minister Ahmed Samir and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hossam Heiba.
During the meeting, Madbouli lauded the actions of the company in Egypt, pointing out that the company is one of the most prominent ones operating in the Egyptian market in manufacturing electronic appliances including televisions, screens, cell phones and tablets.
Samsung Electronics is an important partner of the Egyptian company especially in relation to suppling tablets to the Ministry of Education.
During the meeting, board chairman of the company explained its plan to increase exports from Egypt to the European market via benefiting from the incentives granted by a partnership agreement inked between Egypt and the EU.
