In a thrilling final match, Farag defeated his compatriot Mazen Hesham with a flawless 3-0 victory.

Farag, 31, showcased his exceptional skills throughout the encounter, outplaying fellow Egyptian Hesham, who currently holds the fifth spot in the world rankings.

In a swift and commanding display, Farag triumphed with a scoreline of 11-4, 11-9, and 11-5, completing the match in just 36 minutes.

"It means a lot to me. I believe I played outstanding squash throughout the entire week. I improved with each passing day, surpassing my previous performances. However, I must acknowledge that the tournament draw worked in my favour," Farag said.

Farag's path to the final was paved with similar success. He defeated Karim Abdel-Gawad 3-0 in the semifinals.

"Both my opponents seemed a bit worn out in the matches, especially Karim yesterday and Mazen today. Nevertheless, I must credit myself for capitalizing on their fatigue,” Farag added.

“I maintained focus from the very first point until the end because even when they are tired, they possess the potential to pose significant threats. I am immensely pleased with my performance.”

Farag claimed the World Championship title in four consecutive seasons (2018-19, 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23).
