The 25-year-old produced a dazzling performance with Frankfurt this season, scoring nine goals in the Bundesliga and providing five assists, making him the team's leading scorer so far.

Marmoush's current form represents the pinnacle of his career since joining the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg in the summer of 2021.

In an interview with his team's TV channel on Tuesday, Marmoush stated, "Dino Toppmöller has been a tremendous help to me. When I arrived in Frankfurt, I wasn't performing at the same level I am now. Although I had numerous goal-scoring opportunities in the past, I struggled to convert them, but that is no longer the case. He instilled a significant amount of self-confidence in me."

The former Wadi Degla forward highlighted the negative impact of Egypt's shocking elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations, but he credited the warm reception from his teammates at Frankfurt for helping him overcome his frustration.

Egypt, the seven-time African champions, were eliminated in the round of 16 of the tournament after losing to DR Congo on penalties.

Marmoush acknowledged, "Undoubtedly, I was extremely frustrated after our elimination from the Nations Cup, but my teammates helped me overcome this disappointment. Their support allowed me to put the defeat behind me and focus on the future."

Since returning from the Nations Cup, Marmoush has scored two goals and provided two assists in three games.

While he is content with his performance, he remains determined to achieve all his objectives saying he is yet to achieve all his objectives at Frankfurt.
