Ahly's Swiss coach, Marcel Koller, foresees a challenging encounter as his team faces Tanzania's Young Africans in the final round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Despite securing their place in the quarterfinals, Koller believes Young Africans will pose a formidable test for his side.

Egyptian giants Ahly snatched a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ghana's Medeama in the fifth round of Group D games on Friday, solidifying their position at the top of the group.

Young Africans currently sit in second place with eight points, just one point behind Ahly, as they too vie for the summit of Group D.

Koller acknowledged Young Africans' impressive performance in their home game, where they secured a significant 4-0 victory over Algeria's Chabab Belouizdad in the previous round.

"Tomorrow's game won't be easy," Koller stated during the pre-game press conference.

He emphasized the need for the team to maintain full concentration throughout the match to secure three crucial points.

In the second round of Group D games last December, the two teams played to a 1-1 draw.

The 63-year-old coach expressed his hope for a large turnout of fans during the games.

"Ahly fans should attend the games in the stadiums, as they consistently demand African titles," Koller concluded.
