Egypt government working hours from 9 am to 2 pm during Ramadan: Cabinet

The Cabinet announced on Wednesday that working hours for the state administrative apparatus will be from 9 am to 2 pm during the holy month of Ramadan.

Government working hours are between 9 am to 3:30 pm.

The Islamic holy month of Ramadan begins on 11 March in Egypt and lasts for 30 days, according to the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG).

On Tuesday, the Cabinet announced that all shops, malls, restaurants, cafes, and Bazaars would close at 2 am throughout the month of Ramadan and the three days of Eid Al-Fitr.
