The first leg will take place in Tanzania on either March 29th or 30th, with the second set to be held in Cairo on April 5th or 6th.
The winner of this clash will go on to face the victor of the TP Mazembe (DR Congo) vs Petro de Luanda (Angola) encounter in the semi-finals.
In other matches from the draw, Tunisian giants Espérance de Tunis will meet ASEC Mimosas (Côte d'Ivoire), while South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns will face Young Africans (Tanzania).
During the inaugural edition of the African Super League last October, Ahly failed to beat Simba, drawing twice against the Tanzanian side. However, Ahly advanced to the next round based on the away goal rule.
