Salah achieved this feat during Liverpool's Europa League match against Sparta Prague on Thursday.
In a remarkable display, the 31-year-old star stole the spotlight, scoring a goal and providing three assists in Liverpool's dominant 6-1 victory over the Czech side.
"Mo is just relentless in his delivery. His desire to succeed knows no bounds," praised Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp during the post-game press conference.
"Salah's quality is unquestionable, but it is his insatiable hunger for goals that sets him apart. He has shown immense improvement in various aspects of his game since joining Liverpool. And he won't stop here," Klopp continued.
Klopp said Salah Salah would have achieved his new record back in January or February had he not been injured.
"To be honest, I thought he had already achieved this milestone earlier in the season, but unfortunately, an injury sidelined him ... Nevertheless, it is fantastic to have him back in such great form," he added.
Since he arrived at Liverpool in 2017, Salah, a two-time African Player of the Year, has played a pivotal role in the club's success. Making 334 appearances for the Reds, he has netted an impressive 205 goals and provided 89 assists.
Salah's contributions have been instrumental in Liverpool's triumphs, including their UEFA Champions League victory in the 2018/19 season, the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup.
