Swiss manager Marcel Koller reacted to the equalizer with a triple substitution, introducing Amr El Solia, Wessam Abu Ali, and Reda Selim to restore Ahly's lead.
The changes initially paid dividends, with Kahraba grabbing his second goal from a Mohamed Hani cross.
However, The petroleum club snatched a point thanks to a Youssef Labib header in the third minute of injury time, cancelling out Mahmoud Kahraba's second-half goal for Ahly.
Enppi climbed to the top of the Egyptian Premier League table.
The Red Devils remain in the hunt for the title but will need to improve their consistency to reclaim their crown.
