The inmates were released in a celebration held at the 10th of Ramadan Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre.
Families of the released inmates expressed gratitude to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi for granting their relatives another opportunity to reintegrate into society.
To spread the joy of Eid, the ministry organized the prayers at the correctional centre and inmates enjoyed traditional Eid cookies and biscuits.
