Due to adverse weather conditions, flights to and from the UAE, especially Dubai, were badly disrupted.

According to an official statement on Wednesday, EgyptAir will resume flights to Dubai as soon as the weather improves and air traffic returns to normal.

Furthermore, EgyptAir designated a hotline (1717) and a landline (090070000) for local clients with inquiries and either +97142306666 or +966122297777 for international clients.

Heavy rains hit the UAE on Tuesday, causing Dubai's major international airport to divert all incoming flights.

Meanwhile, Egypt's Ministry of Civil Aviation said on Tuesday that Cairo International Airport recorded its highest-ever passenger traffic on Saturday ( approximately 94,000 passengers) due to Iran’s missile and drone attack on Israel that led to shutting down airspace across the Middle East.

On Saturday, airspace was shut down in Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, and Iraq due to the Iranian attack on Israel, leading airlines across the region to cancel or divert flights to other airports, including Cairo International Airport.
