Their upcoming encounter against Egypt's Zamalek in the semifinals on Sunday is poised to be a critical test for Dreams FC.

The first leg of the Confederation Cup semifinals will witness Dreams FC pitted against Zamalek on Sunday, with the second leg scheduled to take place in Cairo a week later.

"In order to contend for the title, a team must be well-prepared, and we acknowledge the formidable challenge posed by Zamalek," Ameenu said on TV.

"Zamalek is not only one of Egypt's finest teams, but also a force to be reckoned with in Africa. However, we are confident, and we have further qualifications to attain before reaching the final," he added.

"While every team aspires to reach this stage, we are confident in our ability to not only reach the final, but also emerge victorious and claim the title," he affirmed.

"In our pursuit of the trophy, we do not have the luxury of selecting our opponents. To emerge as champions, we must be prepared to face any team," concluded the Dreams FC coach.

Zamalek earned their spot in the African Confederation Cup semifinals by triumphing over Modern Future of Egypt with a 3-2 aggregate score in the quarterfinals.

Similarly, Dreams FC secured their place by defeating Stade Malien Bamako of Mali, also with a 3-2 aggregate score.
