The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that Maimouna Abdel Hamid Harahsheh, 20, was fatally shot in the head, adding that the soldiers deliberately left her to bleed to death and prevented ambulance crews from reaching her.

The Israeli forces are still withholding Harahsheh's body, according to the ministry.

Moreover, soldiers carried out a large-scale military incursion south of Hebron, seizing two Palestinian-owned vehicles in the town of Al-Samu and the village of Tabqa.

At least 487 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire in the West Bank since the war on Gaza began on 7 October.

Ongoing assaults on Al-Aqsa

Israeli forces also closed the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron to Muslim worshippers under the pretext of the Jewish holiday of Passover while opening it only for Jewish prayers, for two days, WAFA reported.

The Director of the Ibrahimi Mosque Moataz Abu Sneineh denounced the decision, calling it a blatant violation of the site’s sanctity, and a provocative attack on the right of Muslims to access their places of worship.

The occupation forces also tightened security measures and closed all checkpoints leading to the mosque.

Additionally, hundreds of Israeli settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under the protection of Israeli police.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces intensified security measures against Palestinians coming from Jerusalem to enter the Mosque, inspecting their IDs and briefly detaining them.
