Shoukry will attend a roundtable on trade and supply chain disruptions in the Middle East, as well as a meeting on enhancing global security and growth.

He is also scheduled to participate in a high-level session on the situation in the Middle East, according to the foreign ministry.

Riyadh is set to host the WEF’s special meeting on global collaboration, growth, and energy for development on Sunday and Monday.

The event will address global challenges in the presence of over 700 participants from different countries.

On the sideline of the forum, Shoukry will also hold side ministerial meetings over the latest development in Gaza – where Israel has killed at least 34,305 Palestinians and injured 77,293 others, most of whom are children and women, during its six-month war on the strip.

This includes a meeting of Arab ministers and a meeting of the group with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
