During a phone call, both leaders further explored joint efforts to exchange captives and ensure the flow of sufficient humanitarian aid into the besieged strip.
According to the Egyptian presidency, El-Sisi and the emir confirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts and engaging with the various parties to end the war.
In addition, they affirmed their dedication towards protecting the region from further escalation.
