Egypt also informed all concerned parties of Israel's responsibility for the deterioration of humanitarian conditions in Gaza, an informed source added.

On Friday, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry warned in a phone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken of security consequences that may arise due to the Israeli operations in the Palestinian border city of Rafah where more than 1.5 million Palestinian people – mostly previously displaced persons – currently reside.

Since the incursion of the Israeli forces in Rafah Border Crossing, not a single aid truck has crossed into Gaza since Tuesday.
