According to the foreign ministry, the Tuesday meeting will address draft resolutions for submission to Arab leaders during the summit.

Topics up for discussion include recent developments in Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon, Comoros, and Yemen, alongside initiatives bolstering Arab national security and countering terrorism.

The Palestinian cause and the situation in the Gaza Strip will be of utmost priority at both the ministerial meeting and the Arab Summit, according to the ministry.

At Tuesday's meeting, Shoukry will also meet with several Arab counterparts and engage with the media.

The 33rd Arab Summit, to be held on Thursday, will be attended by many Arab leaders.

On Saturday, Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul-Gheit said that countries advocating for the two-state solution for Israel-Palestine must expedite their efforts to translate this vision into reality.
