Mayele opened the scoring in the 30th minute and doubled the lead 14 minutes later.
Just before halftime, midfielder Mohamed Adel pulled one back for Ceramica, but the visitors couldn't find an equalizer in the second half, allowing Pyramids FC to claim their seventh consecutive win.
Despite his brace, Mayele had the opportunity to score a couple more goals but missed two easy chances from close range.
However, his contributions were vital in securing the victory for Pyramids FC.
This win served as revenge for Pyramids FC against Ceramica Cleopatra, who handed Pyramids their only loss of the season with a 2-0 defeat in November.
Since then, Pyramids have avoided defeat in 14 consecutive games, including seven consecutive wins in the domestic league.
Pyramids FC currently sit at the top of the league table with 47 points from 20 games, holding a ten-point lead over second-placed Masri, who have played one more match.
Their next match will be against Canal-Suez based side Ismaily on Sunday.
In another match on Wednesday, Pharco FC secured a 1-0 victory over Baladeyet El-Mahala in Alexandria as both teams battle to avoid relegation.
