The 25-year-old Egyptian international successfully converted a penalty in the 77th minute to score his 12th Bundesliga goal.
Leipzig seized an early lead, with a penalty awarded just before halftime. Mario Goetze fouled Xavi Simons, who confidently dispatched the spot-kick into the net.
Shortly after the break, Benjamin Sesko extended Leipzig's advantage with a clinical strike from outside the box.
However, Frankfurt mounted a spirited comeback, with Hugo Ekitike heading in their first goal.
Marmoush then stepped up to the spot, calmly converting his side's penalty with his right foot to secure a crucial point for Frankfurt.
The result ensured Frankfurt's berth in next season's UEFA Europa League, finishing 6th in the Bundesliga standings with 47 points, edging out 7th-placed Hoffenheim by a single point, who will feature in the Europa Conference League.
The former-Wadi Degla forward has registered his best-ever performance since arriving in Europe in 2017 after scoring 17 goals across all competitions and providing six assists.
Marmoush's standout performances have garnered attention, with reports suggesting interest from several Premier League clubs including Liverpool.
