Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah paid tribute to outgoing manager Jurgen Klopp, while also underlining the club's determination to return to trophy-winning ways next season.

Salah's message comes ahead of Klopp's final game in charge, following the club's announcement last month. The pair's relationship had been under scrutiny after a heated exchange during a Premier League draw at West Ham, sparking rumours of a rift.

However, Salah's tweets on Monday painted a different picture. "It was great sharing all those trophies and experiences with you over the past 7 years. I wish you the best of luck for the future and hope we meet again." he wrote, addressing Klopp directly.

In a separate tweet, Salah shifted focus to the future, emphasizing the team's hunger for silverware. "We know that trophies are what count and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season. Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell." he declared.

Klopp is set to depart Liverpool after a successful seven-year spell at the helm. Under his leadership, the Reds secured a Champions League title, a Premier League trophy, and several other domestic cup wins.
