The Young Pharaohs are set to compete from 24 July to 11 August in the prestigious event.
"Winning a medal for Egypt in the upcoming Olympic Games has been a genuine dream with me since my arrival," said Micale, who has been coaching the team for two years, revealing his aspiration in a recent television interview.
"We fought hard to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and we will continue to strive towards securing a medal," he added, emphasizing the team's relentless pursuit of success.
Understanding the Egyptian people's passion for achievements, Micale drew a parallel with his fellow Brazilians.
"I pledge to fight for their dreams in Paris and strive for the ultimate achievement — replicating the gold medal we earned with Brazil in 2016," the Brazilian tactician affirmed.
In the draw held in France last March, Egypt's U-23 team was placed in Group C alongside Spain, the Dominican Republic, and Uzbekistan.
The team's Olympic journey kicks off on Wednesday 24 July, with a match against the Dominican Republic.
Then, they will face Uzbekistan on Monday 27 July, and Spain on Thursday 30 July.
Micale's ambitious pursuit of a medal for Egypt's U-23 team has generated excitement among fans and heightened expectations for their performance in the upcoming Paris Olympic Games.
The Pharaohs aim to etch their name in history by securing their first-ever Olympic football medal, inspired by Micale's experience and determination.
