Allam highlighted the significance of the ICJ's decision, stressing the need for comprehensive efforts and international action aimed at realizing the Palestinian people's legitimate rights and the establishment of their independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

In this regard, the Grand Mufti urged the international community to intervene promptly and decisively to halt the brutal and barbaric attacks carried out by Israel against Palestinians and civilian infrastructure.

Allam further called for an end to the collective punishment imposed by the occupying Israeli forces on the Palestinian people due to their legitimate demands.

He highlighted Israel's ongoing brutal assaults on hospitals, children, women, and displaced individuals in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian City of Rafah.

The Grand Mufti also commended the announcement of Norway, Ireland, and Spain to recognize the Palestinian State officially.

In a historic move, Norway, Ireland and Spain announced their recognition of the Palestinian state on Wednesday, as several countries in the European Union plan to follow suit in an attempt to implement the two-state solution.
