The arrests took place across several areas, including Bethlehem, Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, Jenin, and Jerusalem, according to Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The statement said the raids were accompanied by extensive home invasions, abuse, and widespread destruction of property.

Since 7 October, the total number of Palestinians arrested by Israeli occupation forces has risen to over 8,875, it added.

Meanwhile, groups of Israeli colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem this morning under Israeli police protection, WAFA reported.

Israeli police stationed at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque have prevented several Palestinian citizens from entering, resulting in a significant decline in the number of worshippers.

Moreover, Israeli occupation forces on Sunday gave out notices of the demolition of commercial shops on the road linking the Jaba' and Qalandia military checkpoints, north of occupied Jerusalem, and a bridge linking the towns of Jaba' and Al-Ram.

Eyewitnesses said the occupation forces handed demolition notices to the owners of several shops and facilities in the targeted street.
