​Bibliothek library club's first meeting will discuss Ahmed Elmorsi's novel

Tues 11, 7pm (Online event): Join the virtual book discussion of Challenges in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language, (AUC Press, 2024), an essential collection of empirical studies on the TAFL, and classroom experience, by leading professionals in the field. The discussion will introduce book editor Dalal Abo El Seoud, as well as the following contributors: Heba Salem, Iman Soliman, and Shahira Yacout.

Sat 8, 8pm: “Liqaa (Meeting)” - Book Club in Arabic” a new cultural event held monthly starting in June at the Bibliothek library.  

“Liqaa” provides an ideal opportunity to gather with fellow reading lovers to discuss books and exchange ideas and opinions on various literary and intellectual issues. The club will be managed by Lana Abdel-Rahman, a distinguished academic and writer with a great passion for Arabic literature. The club's first meeting will discuss Ahmed Elmorsi's novel A Gamble in Lady Mitsi's Honor. Writer Elmorsi will attend the first meeting of the Arabic Book Club to discuss his book with readers.
