On Thursday, the Pharaohs will host Burkina Faso in the World Cup qualifiers, aiming to maintain their winning streak.

Egypt currently leads Group A with a maximum six points, while Burkina Faso sits in second place, two points behind.

"There is no easy opponent in the group," Hossam Hassan told the pre-match news conference.

"The game against Burkina Faso will not be easy. The qualifiers are a lengthy process, and the group consists of six teams where anything can happen. However, with our determination and hard work, we are capable of reaching the World Cup."

The former renowned striker also addressed speculations about a conflict between team star Mohamed Salah and himself. Salah had missed the Pharaohs' first camp under Hossam Hassan's guidance in March, leading to reports of tension between them.

"I am very happy with Salah's presence," the Pharaohs coach affirmed.

"He is a world-class player, exceptional, and disciplined. He is determined to achieve success alongside his teammates." he concluded.
