"Israeli violations of the Palestinian rights persist day after day after day in full view of the civilized world," Egyptian Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid wrote on X.

He also expressed Cairo's denunciation of the racist Israeli practices during the flag march, where tens of Israelis marched through the occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday, chanting against Arabs.

Egypt further reiterated its unwavering stance against these "shameful practices" and pledged to continue working alongside its regional and international partners to safeguard Palestinian rights.

On Thursday, Israel bombed a UN-run school in the Gaza Strip, without prior warning to thousands of displaced people sheltering there.

Commissioner General of UNRWA Philippe Lazzarini said that the school was sheltering 6,000 displaced people when it was hit.
