Temperatures in Cairo and Lower Egypt are expected to hover around 41 degrees during the day and 27 at night, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
South Sinai will see higher daytime temperatures of 42 degrees and nighttime lows around 31.
Meanwhile, visitors to the North Coast should expect cooler highs of 33 degrees and nighttime lows around 24.
In Northern Upper Egypt, daytime temperatures will reach 42 degrees and nighttime lows around 26.
Southern Upper Egypt will remain extremely hot throughout the week, with highs of 45 degrees and nighttime lows around 31.
The EMA has advised citizens to stay indoors if they do not have urgent business to attend to, remain hydrated, and avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours.
The summer season began on Friday.
