Following a three-year hiatus, the festival's 19th edition kicked off on 21 June, with a lineup filled with stars.
The first day saw the Egyptian singer Angham performing on one of the six stages in Rabat, Morocco.
The concert was held at the Nahda Space and was paralleled with two Moroccan artists - Latifa Raafat and Mocci - performing at the Sale Beach.
Before Angham, the Lebanese pop star Carole Samaha gave the concert at the Mohammed V National Theatre, followed by the Ivorian rapper Didi B taking the Bouregreg Stage.
The first day concluded with the concert of Australian pop star Kylie Minogue at the OLM Souissi stage in the late evening.
As the festival continues until 29 June, two more Egyptian singers are included in the festival's schedule: Ahmed Saad, who performed on 22 June, and renowned actor-singer Mohamed Ramadan, who will give a concert at the Nahda Space on the festival's closing day (29 June).
Among the names presented by the organisers of the festival are Morocco's renowned home-grown performers such as Najat Aatabou, Ibtissam Tiskat, Jannat, Ikram El-Abdia, Abdou El-Ouazzani, Muslim, Said Mosker, Ihsane Regragui, among others.
The line-up also features several Lebanese stars such as Marwan Khoury, Nawal Zoghbi, Abeer Nehme, Haifa Wehbe ... etc.
This rich programming is topped with international names, including Nicki Nicole (Argentina), Fatoumata Diawara (Mali), Ateez (South Korea), Alawn (France), Yamê (France), Omah Lay (Nigeria), Yuri Buenaventura (Colombia), Ayra Starr (Benin), Burna Boy (Nigeria), Çiğdem Aslan (Turkey), among many others.
