Hamed, who joined the Cairo giants in January, confirmed his departure in an interview with On Time Sports 1 channel, lamenting his lack of game time.
"Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to play with Zamalek. I only participated in two matches and I don't think the coach will give me a chance to play," Hamed said.
The Palestinian defender expressed frustration over his sidelining, despite winning the African Confederation Cup with Zamalek earlier this year.
"That's why I decided to leave Zamalek, and that's what I agreed on with the coach and the club. I haven't played for 5 months," he emphasized.
"I have several offers and I am negotiating with some clubs, but for now I will return to Spain," he added.
"I was happy with Zamalek and their fans' support for me, but playing matches is the basis of everything," the 26-year-old defender stressed.
