“Hani concluded all the managerial and financial procedures for his new contract,” Ahly said via its official website.
His contract with the Red Devils was due to end this summer, and the renewal ensures his stay until the summer of 2027.
In 2015, Hani came up from the club's youth ranks, becaming one of Ahly’s key players in the past few seasons.
Since then, he has won 21 titles with the Red Devils, including six league titles, four Egypt Cup titles, five Super Cup titles, four African Champions League titles, and two African Super Cup titles.
Moreover, he scored five goals in 322 appearances with the club in different competitions, including a memorable goal in the Red Devils' win over the Mexican side CF Monterrey in the Club World Cup in 2022.
During the current season, he scored a goal in 35 appearances.
Hani debuted with the Pharaohs in 2016, playing in 21 games.
