House of Representatives sets Monday for PM Madbouly to deliver new cabinet statement

The House of Representatives will hold a general session on Monday at the new headquarters of the parliament in the New Administrative Capital to let Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly deliver a statement on the new government's program.

Earlier Wednesday, Egypt's new 30-member cabinet, led by  Madbouly, was sworn in before President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.

The overhaul involved numerous changes in ministers and portfolios.

In a statement, the parliament announced that according to its internal regulations a general session will be convened on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
