This victory marked Ahly's 11th consecutive win in the domestic league as they continue their ascent towards the league summit.

They currently occupy second place in the league table with 54 points, trailing leaders Pyramids FC by 11 points, although Pyramids FC have played four more matches.

Abou Ali, who also found the net three days earlier against Talae Al-Geish in Ahly's 4-0 triumph over the military side, opened the scoring in the 35th minute.

He capitalized on a well-placed cross from Hussein El-Shahat on the right flank to easily slot the ball into an empty net.

Just six minutes later, Abou Ali converted a penalty, taking his goal tally to seven since joining the Cairo giants in January.

In the second half, Emam Ashour took center stage, netting two more goals.

He unleashed a powerful shot from outside the area to score the third goal right at the hour-mark.

Ashour then added the fourth goal just one minute after Mahmoud E-Arabi scored a consolation goal for Dakhleya in injury time.

Ahly's next fixture is set against Talae Al-Geish on Sunday, where they will aim to extend their winning streak and maintain their pursuit of the league title.
