The group said the strikes were a response to the assassination of one of its members in an Israeli drone strike in northeastern Lebanon on Saturday.
The rocket attack seriously wounded an Israeli near the city of Kfar Zeitim, Israeli media reported.
According to the Israeli occupation army, some 20 rockets were launched in the Hezbollah barrage at the Lower Galilee this morning.
Several of the rockets were shot down by air defenses, it said.
The strikes also sparked fires in several areas in northern Israel.
The rockets followed Israel's Saturday assassination of Hezbollah key official Meitham Mustafa Altaar in an airstrike in the Lebanese Baalbek area.
Israeli Army Radio noted that alerts had been activated on Sunday in localities where alarms had not sounded since October of last year.
Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement have exchanged cross-border fire almost daily since the Gaza war began, but attacks have escalated over the past month.
last week, Hezbollah launched 200 rockets and a swarm of explosive drones at several Israeli military bases in northern Israel.
Israel said about 160 “projectiles” were launched toward the occupied Syrian Golan Heights and over 15 drones into Israel, but that it had intercepted some of them.
