Zamalek are set to face Baladeyet El-Mahalla in a delayed League game on Monday at the Cairo Stadium as both sides are aiming to improve their situations in the table.

The White Knights are determined to extend their unbeaten streak to five games, aiming to advance to the sixth place in the table.

Currently seventh with 41 points, Zamalek face a deduction of three points due to their withdrawal from the game against Ahly.

On the other hand, Baladeyet El-Mahalla are struggling in the relegation zone, occupying the 16th place with 23 points.

Zamalek veteran playmaker Mahmoud 'Shikabala' Abdel-Razek is likely to return to the squad for the first time in months after recovering from a muscle injury.

Benin forward Samson Akinyoola has returned to training after being away in his hometown, causing him to miss Zamalek's previous games.

Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri has also resumed training after recovering from a muscle injury that had kept him sidelined in the previous match.

However, the White Knights will be without Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Mohamed Shehata, Zeyad Kamal, and Hossam Abdel-Meguid, as they are currently participating in the U-23 national team's closed camp to prepare for the 2024 Olympic Games.

Following their withdrawal from the game against Ahly last month, Zamalek have played four league games, securing victories against Ceramica Cleopatra, Ismaily, and Talae El-Geish, while drawing 1-1 against Pharco FC.
