El-Sisi said he is looking forward to their participation in the upcoming Olympic Games Paris 2024, stressing that sports represent the civilisation of nations and their peoples, calling for fair competition and upholding lofty ethics.
"While we are keen on winning championships, our primary goal is to always present ourselves in a dignified manner that represents Egypt."
"In Egypt, our large population increases our chances of having outstanding international athletes," El-Sisi added.
Egypt is set to participate in the Olympic Games in France, which will take place from 26 July to 11 August, targeting to win 7 to 11 medals.
