Al-Sahir gave a concert at the end of June 2024. The concert saw a change of location from the announced Sakkara Pyramid area to New Cairo and surprised fans with the highest category of tickets reaching EGP 32,000 (USD 660).
His June performance was part of his international tour promoting the latest album With Love, featuring 13 songs written by the singer.
This concert was the first since 2022 when he performed at the Cairo Opera House, marking a return after 13 years of absence.
As he will perform at the New Alamein Festival, the singer is expected to indulge the audiences with some of his best-known songs embracing his hallmark romantic feel.
Al-Sahir started singing in the 1980s and paved his career with many romantic compositions that gained hearts in the Arab world.
Today, his repertoire includes more than 30 albums and 300 songs, performing a wide range of Arabic music from pop to classical and singing in most Arabic dialects.
Al-Sahir has earned numerous local, regional, and international awards and performed in many countries outside the Arab world. In 2011, he was named a goodwill ambassador by the UNICEF.
Now, he is a judge in The Voice, the Arabic version.
