The film will be screened within the Orizzonti Extra, a section highlighting the latest trends in international cinema for young talents.

This is the first Egyptian film to participate in Venice's official lineup since Ibrahim El Batout's Winter of Discontent in 2012.

Seeking Haven for Mr Rambo is Khaled Mansour's feature-narrative debut after working on numerous short films screened at international and regional festivals.

Mohamed El-Hosseiny co-wrote the film with the director.

Seeking Heaven for Mr Rambo stars Essam Omar, Rakin Saad, Sama Ibrahim, and Ahmed Bahaa, the co-founder of the Sharmoofers band in his debut acting role.

The drama film tells the story of Hassan (Essam Omar), a young man in his thirties who is forced to confront the fears of his past. He embarks on self-discovery, which includes a quest to save his dog and best friend Rambo from an unknown fate.

Seeking Haven for Mr Rambo is produced by Mohamed Hefzy through Film Clinic and producer Rasha Hosny in her feature film production debut. Film Clinic Indie Distribution Worldwide will be responsible for distributing the film.
